Everything Has Its Season
Every second, the earth rotates on its axis. Depending on where you are on the planet, it may be day or night. The day is bright and night, dark. During the day, you work and at night, you rest. Every once in a while, the earth gets shaken - earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons occur affecting the lives of people dramatically. These events do not just happen, they are triggered by something – a plate sliding against another, a hurricane that started from the middle of the ocean and then proceeds to land. Each time any of these happen, it doesn't cause the earth to stop spinning, heck people on the other side of the globe don't even know that lives have been destroyed that same day.
Liken yourself to the earth, understand your cycles – when to eat, when to sleep, when to work, when to catch up on your favorite series. You eat at your favorite restaurant and then you wake up the next morning with a running stomach, a very uncomfortable feeling. You do not feel good, but your heart still beats, you can still walk, talk and breathe.
The earth may have similarities with other planets but it stays true to itself and does not try to be like them. It understands its features, composition and it uses them to sustain itself. It has been doing so for 4.5bn years now.
There is no manual to 'living'. Everyone's journey and purpose in life is different. There are times that you'll see the light and others darkness. Understand that this is your journey and you are your teacher and student. Live in the moment and know that this too shall pass for after the rain comes the shine.
Experience they say is the best teacher. Only you can learn from you. Others can only imagine what you are going through. So live life as it comes, embrace it, learn from it and let it take its course.
